Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Controls Engineering Hub (“the platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Do not share your login credentials or allow others to access your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

3. Course purchases

• Course purchases are one-time payments that grant lifetime access to that course for your account only.
• Access is personal and non-transferable.
• Prices are set in USD and include all applicable fees at the time of purchase.
• Refunds may be requested by contacting billing@controlsengineeringhub.com. Refund eligibility is at our discretion and typically limited to purchases within 14 days where less than 20% of the course has been completed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post spam, unsolicited promotions, or off-topic content in the forum
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other members
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security
• Reproduce or redistribute course content without written permission
• Misrepresent your identity or credentials
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

5. User-generated content

You retain ownership of content you create (forum posts, project showcases, profile information). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the platform. You confirm that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

We may remove content that violates these terms or our community standards at our discretion, without notice.

6. Intellectual property

Course content, platform design, and code are owned by Controls Engineering Hub or their respective creators. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from platform content.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, access to purchased courses may be revoked at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that course content will meet your specific professional requirements. Use of information from courses is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Controls Engineering Hub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
